Translation and Multilingual Content Coordinator 350.org
February 2012 – September 2013
• Recruited, hired and managed new translators living in and working from five continents
• Managed large translation projects in 4 – 10 languages
• Transitioned the organization to a web-based translation tool to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency
• Coordinated translation of websites, email blasts, video subtitles and other materials as needed

Translator/Transcriber The Global Feminisms Project at the University of Michigan
August 2011 – April 2012
• Transcribed, translated, and annotated interviews conducted with Nicaraguan feminist activists
• Reviewed transcripts and translations completed by other staff
• Provided cultural and historic background to staff

Bilingual Research Assistant The Center for Health Communication and Social Marketing at the University of Iowa College of Public Health
September 2009 – May 2011
Two projects: The Iowa Initiative to Reduce Unintended Pregnancies, and Working to Implement Sexuality Education (WISE)
• Recruited, trained, and managed bilingual team of interviewers, transcribers, and translators
• Organized data collections and events across the state of Iowa
• Organized transcription and translation of 150 hours of radio programming
• Conducted phone interviews with school administrators and grant recipients
• Created and monitored online surveys using WebSurveyor

Bilingual Research Assistant The Public Policy Center at the University of Iowa
February 2010 – July 2010
• Organized and recruited for 18 focus groups in Spanish and English across Iowa
• Collaborated with all staff to ensure positive outcomes of meetings
